Bewitched thief

Bewitched thief

In the game "DiploWitch2" I bewitched the thief and successfully stole from the merchant, only to have the bewitched thief get all the gold. This must surely be a mistake! The stolen gold belongs to the witch, not the thief. Any clarification for that?

Thanks

It is not a mistake. It's a rule.

The thief stole when the merchant get up. But then, the witch has not yet the thief control.

A note, the thief is not a singular case. With other character, the witch does the same.

Do you understand me? confused smiley

Yes I understand. Thank you :-)

You speak of different cases. Which character powers can the witch NOT steal?
Does this mean the witch is not protected vs the warlord / diplomat if she bewitched the bishop??

This is very weird, I've played the game many times and never heard such a case. The rules clearly say the witch plays af she were the bewitched character. The only exception is the crown; a bewitched king does not give away the crown to the witch.
The way you play it, certain characters would be partly immune to the witch's power.

"The Thief cannot steal from the Witch or the character that the Witch bewitched.

If the thief is bewitched, his ability is used by the Witch and for the Witch's benefit."

i like it¡¡ but the home's rules are the home's rules¡¡¡
