Cambio parcial en el ranking /partial ranking system change

Habreis notado que hoy el ranking ha cambiado un par de veces y está raro...
La causa es que desde el pasado hasta hoy, y en adelante, la puntuación obtenido tanto para bien como para mal en una partida será multiplicada por un factor dependiente del número de distritos. La formula es la siguiente:
Distritos Factor
4 0.6
5 0.7
6 0.8
7 0.9
8 1
9 1.1
10 1.2
11 1.3
12 1.4

Con lo cual, las partidas a 8 distritos se comportan como siempre, las de 12 distritos dan y quitan un 40% más de los puntos y las de a 4 dan y quitan un 40% menos de puntos.

The cause is that from past, today and forever, the points of a game will be multiplicated (for gains and looses) by a factor, dependent of the number of districts of the game. This works as follows:

12 1.4

So, the games with eight districts works as usual, the games with 12 districts are a 40% more valuable and the games with 4 districts are 40% less valuables (as valuable for the winner thatn for the loosers)

Does this system still work??

It seems, according to my calculations, that it didnt work in game :

The scores are the same as those obtained with the old excel calculation file, without any "1,4" factor... (btw, it is a 12 district game)

cuidado con el multuplicador por numero de distritos, me han dicho de
cierto distrito que puede alterar la cantidad de distritos a la que se jugaba al empezar la partida.
espero que no modifiques el numero inicial si no la comprobacion de numero de distritos

Como bien ya sabes, el número inicial se pierda, el campanario lo modifica. Si te estabas quejando precisamente por eso...

No es periglo. Yo ya he terminado una partida con 3 distritos (jugado el campanario y ganado por mi). Puse el mínimo a 4 pa que un arquitecto cafre no gane en el primer turno o algo así, pero es perfectamente correcto que una partida a 4 distritos se vea reducida a 3.
Ya está tu cartelito en el campanario, ya puedes dormir tranquilo esta noche...

Al ranking? da (o debería) un 50% menos de los puntos a percibir (es un 10% menos por cada distrito por debajo de 8)

Ejem, ejem, esto funciona a todos menos a mi? o es que no funciona. Más que nada porque tras acabar partidas de 4, 6 8 y 12 distritos veo que me dá lo mismo y sólo influye el número de gente

Achiles, can you confirm this system hasn't been re-implemented ? It still doesn't work, is it ?

To my eyes, it was a quite good system, because there is no point winning so much point when you play 3 players / 4 districts game compared to a regular game.

It seems the top ranking players make alot of 4 districts game... this gives them the opportunity to get alot of points (i climbed like 70 points in the ranking by playing 4 districts - 3 players games against danissimus... a bit against my will because I was unaware those were 4 districts game).

Do you think to put back this ponderation system one day ?

This system are fully-functionally with all test i made. But too many people insist that not working. I'm confuse...

The fact is that when I calculate the game points with Askalab's excel sheet on the Yahoo group, I allway get the same result as on this site, no matter if the game has more/less players and more/less districts...

Well, if you want to join a 3 players 4 district game with me and another player, let's say Askalab, we could do the Ultimate online test :-)))
