Posible cambio al sistema de ranking / Possible ranking system

Se está gestando un posible cambio en el sistema de clasificaciones. Aún está por decidir y seguramente, si se hace, estén ambos simultaneamente un tiempo. Lo que sí es casi seguro es que a partir de ahora, en las fórmulas de cálculo de puntuación se tendrá en cuenta el número de distritos al que se juega en la partida, de modo que contra a más distritos se juegue la partida, más puntos tendrán los ganadores y más perderán los perdedores. De modo que la partida standard es a 8 distritos, de ahí para abajo las partidas serán menos "valiosas" y de ahí para arriba serán más valiosas. Esto aún no está implementado, y aún tardará, creo... Pero lo que aviso es que, una vez implementado, se recalcularán todos los valores de todas las partidas terminadas. Esto es la solución más justa. Estadísticamente, la gente juega partidas con diversidad de distritos, así que no debería haber muchos cambios en la clasificación. Pero si los hay, lo lamento, pero el resultado final es inapelable...

I have thinking in a possible change in the ranking system. I have not decided yet, and, if occurs, both rankings systems will live simultaneously during few days. The only sure thing is the next:
Now and forward, in the ranking formulas, the number of districts of a game will be a factor. More districts, more points for the winners and less more looses for the loosers. The standard game is 8 districts. Less districts, less "valuable" will be the game, more districts, more "valuable" will be the game. this aren't working yet, and will take a time... But when the work is done, the actual points of all players will be recalculated with all the finished games. This the most fair solution. Staticstically, the people plays games of a variety of districts. Dont would be much changes. But if there are changes, i'm sorry, but the final result is unappelable.

Ya he estudiado mucho eso y creo que lo mejor es que no se tengan en cuenta con esos puntos. La gente podría intentar hacer trampas, se joderían los unos a los otros excesivamente, etc... En una partida hay uno o más ganadores y todos los demás perdedores. Creo que eso es bastante. Además, tendría que guardar todos esos resultados, o si no más tarde sería imposoble recrear el resultado. De momento, con lo del número de distritos es suficiente.

It is a good idea to increase the points gained with a higher number of districts. For the same reasons, it's harder to win games with more players (but I think it's already rewarded more points).

Just to throw an idea : maybe it is time to hold "tournaments" of Citadels...
Let me explain : some special games, where a K value would be applied : instead of winning / loosing the usual number of points, it would be K x this number (with K > 1). See what I mean ?

Very nice site anyway (so much better than the german one). I loved your "notes", that is VERY useful for those playing a lot of games at the same time.
